Taras Kremin commented on the information about the policy of forcible Russification that the Russian leadership intends to apply to deported Ukrainian children sending them to "language camps".
"For the first time at the legal level, the actions of the aggressor country have been recognized as genocide of the Ukrainian people and stressed on the oppression of the Ukrainian language which continues to be brutally implemented by the Russian military" the Commissioner commented on the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on recognizing the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine as the Genocide of the Ukrainian people.
On air of the Nikolaev TV channel "MARCH" the Commissioner emphasized the need of final decolonization of geographical names and toponyms.
On the TV channel "Pryamiy" Taras Kremin spoke about the role of cultural diplomacy when the demand for the Ukrainian language and culture is extremely high.
In a comment to the Vesti newspaper Taras Kremin noted that communicating in Ukrainian is worthy, fashionable and noble. To support Ukraine it means to stand with good deeds and to help punish and destroy evil. "
On Radio NV, the Commissioner spoke about the role of people's diplomacy in establishing the Ukrainian language.
In a new academic year, the schools, where the Russian language is still taught, should consider replacing it with other subjects or by increasing the proportion of existing subjects. Taras Kremin said it for the "Pryamiy" TV channel.
