Arranging of language courses abroad is an important element of international support for Ukraine. This was stated on the air of "TRC MART" by the State Language Protection Commissioner Taras Kremin.

"It is very important that free language courses have begun to function not only in Ukraine but also abroad. In 2022, the Commissioner’s Secretariat became an associate member of the European Federation of National Institutions for Language (EFNIL). During this difficult time for Ukraine, the support of leading language institutions in Europe is very important. Besides, the pace of the establishment of the Ukrainian language is the front of the struggle for Ukraine. Today, in almost every EU country, as well as in the USA, Canada, and Latin America, there are language courses organized by our citizens, who live temporarily abroad, with the support of international partners and Ukrainian communities. This is important both to ensure the educational process of Ukrainian schoolchildren and to meet the needs of citizens of countries of the world," Taras Kremin said.

It should be reminded that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, on the initiative of the Commissioner, more than 500 free platforms have been organized on the territory of Ukraine, which help to learn and improve the state language. A network of language courses and conversational clubs abroad as well as a network of Ukrainian educational hubs have been formed. Ukrainian studies continue operating at the leading universities of the world. The Ukrainian language began to study as a foreign one what promotes language diplomacy of Ukraine.
