About the language in Ukraine and the world:

Since July 16, 2022, the new norms of the Law "On Ensuring the Functioning of  Ukrainian as the State Language", regulating the use of the Ukrainian language on the Internet and in the interfaces of computer programs of goods, will come into effect.

The Commissioner about one year of the date of adoption of the epoch-making decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutionality) of the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language".

The Commissioner asks to report about the acts of linguocide against the Ukrainian language (any actions of the occupiers or their collaborators aimed at discrimination or persecution of Ukrainians on the basis of language, forcible expulsion of the Ukrainian language from public space and public use, replacing it with russian).

On July 16, 2022, several new norms of the Law "On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language" will enter into force. This was announced by the Commissioner at a briefing in Media Center Ukraine.
