Within the All-Ukrainian Campaign of the State Language Protection Commissioner Taras Kremen, aimed at creating opportunities for all those wishing to learn Ukrainian, we have collected information about more than 450 free courses, conversational clubs, and online resources popular in Ukraine.
Most venues are located in educational and culture institutions (colleges, universities, institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education, libraries). More information is available at: https://mova-ombudsman.gov.ua/kursy.
The Kyiv region (69) and the City of Kyiv (27) are the leaders in the number of locations followed by Lviv (80), Dnipropetrovsk (37), Zakarpattya (32), and Vinnytsia regions (21). The smallest number of proposals for studying the state language is presented in Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
"It is important to provide additional opportunities for learning the Ukrainian language throughout Ukraine. The adoption of local and regional programs for mastering the Ukrainian language expands the network of free courses and conversational clubs, creates favorable learning conditions, helps in the integration of internally displaced persons and strengthens the status of the state language," Taras Kremin said.
